Welcome to Music Makers at the Keyboard!  This Musikgarten program makes the transition to the keyboard comfortable & inviting for your child.  In a group piano class, children develop the skills needed to begin a successful musical journey toward piano playing & musicianship. It meets children where they are as they move, dance, drum & sing, & reinforces their listening & aural skills, helping them enjoy & succeed in piano lessons!

Why group instead of private lessons?

*Children work best in groups.  Groups promote energy, momentum, positive social interaction, bonding, problem-solving skills, cooperative learning & teamwork, & leadership development.

*Children love playing in ensembles!  Group music is an exciting social event for the participants.  Imagine the opportunity to play for a live audience at every lesson!

*Students are relieved not to be alone in tackling difficult tasks.  Group classes allow students to meet with others with common interests & join in working toward a common goal.  This promotes a unique group identity.
